Are the dates for this festival the same every year irrespective of what day they fall on as we would like to book accommodation in Alicante to see next year's festival?  As I imagine the hotels get booked up very quickly we are thinking of making our arrangements very soon?  Also can anyone recommend a reasonably priced, but nice hotel, in Alicante?

My friend just spent a night in Hostal Les Monges. She said it was excellent location clean and good value. It has good reviews on trip adviser as well

Thank you to both of you for replying to my question.  I have looked at booking the Hostal Les Monges but as it is over one year in advance it will not let me.  We are coming over in just over two weeks time so we can have a look at the hotel then.
