I have just read that there has been a fire on Calle de Santa Pola. Can anyone let me know exactly where the fire was as our property is on Altomar II adjacent to that road?

I think it was the bins just up from the market

Reading a few posts on Facebook it appears that several bins were set on fire...it was quite a blaze.

It appears from local reports so far that the fire was caused by someone putting either smouldering BBQ ash or that from a log burner into the containers.....it has all been cleared away, and new bins are awaited.
