The finishing touches are currently being worked on.

Quirónsalud are the first to announce they will be opening a clinic on the ground floor of the AJ hotel, at the beginning of 2021, which is great news for GA that such a prestigious health provider  has chosen GA for it's new centre!

Never heard of the health company quoted, is it a large group?

I'd never heard of it either, quick Internet search, it's the biggest hospital group in Europe. May need good insurance to get in there but hopefully never need it.

Why are they having a clinic In a hotel ? Would people want to go and stay there on holiday knowing there is a clinic of sick people going in and out. Seems a weird idea

Had a look at the hotel when we were out in October, the outside looked finished but works were going on in the interior.

I agree, it sounds like a barmy idea. Hotels have "wellness" and "beauty" attached to them normalls (gyms, spas, salons) - First time I have ever heard of a hotel being actively associated with sickness.

Could be quite handy if you succumb to a dose of Covid whilst on your vacation 😯

Good to see you back and posting Kevin.

Have a good 'un everyone, best wishes for a happy and healthy 2021

Two photos of the new hotel below, taken today (Wed 6th Jan). The ground floor is almost an empty 'shell' so still lots of work to do before completion.

Are these views facing the carpark or the N332?
