Do you think on this forum you get more views (and answers) from your posts if you just go to General discussion...
not all the other categories?

I'm with you Phillip, I just look at "Timeline" and check all the posts out....it's not that there are that many of them and we do stick pretty well to the core subject of GA
I can see the case for categories on forums that cover a wider choice of subjects or are more technical or have sports/general chat/jokes catagories

Perhaps it is the absence of meaningful subject lines that make people reluctant to trawl through a load of posts that they may not be in a position to contribute to. The ubiquitous "Help needed" conveys little whilst "Repairs to to Beko xk27 cooker" might elicit a response from those with the skills.
