Currency Exchange and Sunday lunch
« on: February 07, 2016, 19:05. »
I've spent over an hour on the internet getting nothing except very frustrated, then I remembered the vast amount of knowledge and information that is available here...............hopefully!
I am flying from Madrid to Bangkok in a couple of weeks time and I want to get some Thai Bahts before I go.  Does anyone know the best places for currency exchange?  Global Exchange and Exactchange Bureaux at the airport don't have particularly good rates as far as I can tell, but I'm also having difficulties finding the bank exchange rates to compare to.
Also, what is the VERY BEST place for a proper, traditional Sunday lunch?
Thanks in anticipation!

Sunday lunch in Bangkok or in Spain?

To have local currency - "best" way is to go to a cash machine upon arrival and take out 100 euros (or whatever) in local currency. Even if there is a slight loss in exchange rate ... who cares really?????

Apparantly the best place for a traditional Sunday lunch is at John Hannon's house, but there is a waiting list ... so you may have to wait a long time, isnt that right John  ;)
