'Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a mouse
The stockings were hung
By the chimney with care
In the hope that the wife
Puts them on then and there
The pockets are empty
The cupboards are full
And the fairy lights glisten
So nowhere is dull
Satsumas and nuts
And the odd gift or two
Are now lots of tech
All shiny and new
But the wish is the same
To all friends far and near
Merry Christmas to all
And a happy new year
Health and happiness to everyone from Hazel and Graham
