Local Spanish papers today saying that the new hotel in Arenales should be up and running by 2017.
It will replace the tumbled down hotel already on the site

They'll be offering golfing breaks in conjunction with the local GA golf course
I reckon this is the third time the press have reported on the development of the site in recent years

From what I've heard everything on the ocean side of the road in Arenales is built without permit, and that's why those houses don't get much love. There can come a decision to tear them down at any time. This was told by an real estate agent in GA. Interesting IF it would be true.

The company who own the hotel have announced that work is going to start next week. We shall see!
