there are always these types around they have been there for years asking people to help them
find there way looking at the map ect but there was no damage done to the car so how did they
get into it was it left unlocked ten years ago our friend had her hand bag stolen from her car when
 helping to show some one the way on a map the other person opened the passanger door with out
 her seeing them and was gone so where the ones with the map also a mercadona ga

The wife had her handbag stolen  from lidols car park
even though she was standing at the end of the car, she was distracted
by his accomplice. Totally ruined the last 3 days
(Maybe one day we will be lucky and catch one in the act)

Barry, that' s awful news, so sorry to hear it and hope she didn't lose anything personal/sentimental value. Money etc is bad enough but personal things are the worst.

Luckily enough the bag was found in Murcia
minus é300 and a new mobile but left her
passport and house keys as my mate lived in
Playa Flaminca  he drove down and got it for her

I had some jokers try it on at the tower on the Salt Flats south of Santa Pola early one Sunday morning. Took his map and went and spread it on the bonnet of "his" car. Noting it was French registered, I then spoke to him in French. At that he grabbed his map and they all jumped in the car and shot off. You always have to stay alert and I don't think that is just Spain.
