Beggars Outside Supermarkets
« on: May 21, 2015, 15:28. »
I've noticed that a young couple appear to be doing alternate shifts outside Mercadona, sat under their blanket brandishing their tale of woe on a cardboard sign, they don't get anything from me.
Nipped into Consum today and it's the same there, on leaving the store a black lady thrust a paper plate at me and asked for some money......"no tengo dinero" replied I
Time they were moved on

Regards all

John

Had an overnight at Archena, but home now.  Can't make it tomorrow as I've got golf, but I'll be back with my sign & plastic cup soon.
Please give generously!!!!!!

The guy with the two dogs outside Lidl is a lovely man - don't know his story, but he sure loves those dogs.  Always buy the dogs some chews or food.   8)

Actually stood behind him last year after he finished "work".  Checkout at Mercadona, he counted out 1.66 Euros for 2 bricks of wine - no other shopping.
He needs help, but if it were on offer, would he accept it?
Very, very sad.
