Thought I would add the details now I’ve managed to get the €900 refund back in my account from these crooks. I picked up a hire car from them and did the usual checked all over photographed all visible damage etc , no issues .
I noticed later the hire car actually had Polish number plates not Spanish which surprised me but I didn’t think much about it .
On return was when the issues started the grinning assassin who works for them came out inspect the car and from 30 feet away spotted some damage the was a 2 mm spot on under the rear bumper . I had to get on my hands and knees to see it but he could spot it from 30 feet away. “I wonder if he knew it was there “
We then had a very heated row about it and he charged my credit card €900 . He refused to let me leave until I signed his paperwork I refused and told him that he was attempting an illegal detainment and threatened to call police.
Eventually I left without signing and took their bus back to the airport. The bus driver even told me that the bloke was a nightmare and saw it as his right to charge anyone who didn’t take their insurance. I had uk carhire insurance so I knew I was covered but wasn’t prepared to leave it .
I eventually got in touch with his manager who wouldn’t budge so I went to the CEO of the company in Germany who after I presented everything instructed the Alicante branch to refund me

This is clearly a corrupt franchise if you don’t believe look on trip advisor and Trustpilot. There are loads of cases of the same happening.

I have hired probably 6 to 10 cars a year over the last 25 years using nearly all the companies but I’ve never had an experience like this on

Do not use this company
