Pensioner's Bus Ticket
« on: September 23, 2023, 17:56. »
I understand that pensioners get a cheaper travel rate on Vectalia buses if proof of age is provided eg.an UK driving licence. Can anyone tell me what I have to ask for in Spanish for this discounted ticket please.

get a laminated copy of your passport to show the driver....it was a euro anywhere. ..most places can do the laminate for you.

Just state your destination and the fact that you are a pensioner.

e.g.  "Pensionista Santa Pola"

or  "Dos pensionistas Santa Pola por favor"

The person in a ticket office may ask for ID.  I have only been asked
once when my wife was not present. When she appeared and produced her driving
licence, that was sufficient. I think anything with your photo and D.O.B will do.
