Gabbe market have 50% off everything. Surprised no one one here has mentioned it. By luck we were cycling past yesterday and wondered why the place was so busy. Went this morning and saved 42 euro LOL. Honestly i need everything i bought.

We spent the weekend with some old mates from GA they told me that they'd heard that Gabe was moving into the new build that's taking place and that Aldi are taking the Gabe building.

Regards all

Some of their electrical fittings like mains sockets are dangerous.

I would certainly give that place a miss.

I love a bargain but I am not so sure "bargain" would describe any thing on sale there.

We joined the other locusts at the Gabe Saturday what a pile of junk that’s in there, even now it’s half price a red wig and a set of trolley wheels still can’t entice me. According to the guy on the till they’re shutting down and not moving over the road, so watch this space

That whole development is very strange. Aldi built a shop on the 332 down near Iceland, and it went up in weeks, and was "to Aldi spec" (glass clad etc..it "looks" like an Aldi) the building that is being built near us is a very strange looking thing. Perhaps it IS the new Chinese (despite what the owner says) and Aldi will demolish the fairly new building that the Chinese is now, because of course they could never move directly into it as it's not at all suitable. Also I am looking for a red wig and a set of trolley wheels if anyone knows where I can get them.

Yes strange as Aldi did have a store in the GA center that closed after being open for a short while. I assume trade was not up to a level that they needed.

ALDI in GA Centre is where JYSK is now, much too small for their range of products

Yes I asked the head honcho that sits by the door smoking all day and pointed at the new build that looks like a aircraft hanger and he said no. But maybe he was being secretive and didn’t want to give the competition who sell such high quality merchandise the heads up. Apart from a vast array of wigs they had a nice display of Xmas lights which looked rather dubious quality.
