Hi,
We are looking for a reputable Gestor in the Gran Alacant area. Preferably someone that speaks a bit of English but it's not a necessity.
We would appreciate any recommendations.
Specifically getting an NIE number and residency

Isabel at Foreign Advice Center in Masa Square has been very helpful and at a good price too. It’s really easy getting an NIE number, I got mine in Edinburgh for about £8 at the consulate.

We have been thinking about getting an nie number in London but my husband works away so the intention is, for me to settle in Apain and when he has time off work he will come and fill in the paperwork.
He is also a freelancer so would need to register as such.
I would feel more comfortable if it was being dealt with by someone who knows the ropes.

A 2nd vote for Isabel from me.  Both she and her daughter Sylvia, who also works with her, speak absolutely perfect English.
Their company is Fab (Foreigners Advisory Bureau), and as Pete says their office is in Masa Square.

Just one quick question. How long is it likely to take for us to find a suitable rental property for a year or so and, are there any agents that you can recommend?

I am thinking of coming over in early October to take a look around so I will also need to rent a property for a week or so.. Somewhere nice and central as I am (temporarily) fairly immobile. I am wondering if I can get it all done in a week and move in early November.
Is this doable?
