Can anyone advise me if there are sunbeds available on Caribassi Beach this year?
Thanks

Hi Peter, I don't imagine availability is an issue :)

Not on the Carabassi, but along the coast road to Santa Pola On The Beach bar has sunbeds and shades for hire!

I think the safety of sunbeds might be a consideration before using them. Are they cleaned between use I wonder. The virus can survive for up to 72 hours, so they say, on a hard surface.

I personally would give them a miss.

There is nothing negative in trying to protect yourself, your family and others from catching a virus that can kill.

The beds at On the Beach were/are those of the firm plastic blue cover type. I personally saw the guy managing the process spray clean the beds when people left and then as a new person asked for one it was sprayed and wiped again.

The Urbanova beds were of the mattress type - more comfortable but in reality uncleanable as they are foam and absorbent, we gave them a wide bearth

With the restrictions on bed locations this year we got some cheap lightweight recliners from the Chinese (Gabe) Light enough to carry down and you can set-up where ever you want then.

But as mentioned nothing to hire along all of our local Carabassi beach

What an insult to those that have replied to this post. Just read them and confirm those left by other are sarcastic.  I have and they are certainly not.
