Travel Documents for Spain

So - for the rest of this month you have two choices

1. Fill in the form - each travelling person must have one. I have attached the .pdf below. Golden tip, DO NOT date the form by your signature any greater than 2 days before your flight. Its the declaration of your "current" health

2. Use the Spain Travel Health Portal. here's the link - https://www.spth.gob.es/ This CAN be used before the end of the month in lieu of the paper form but after July 31st you can ONLY use the portal. This will provide you with a QR code that holds your previously entered data that you can show as a hardcopy or on your phone.

You wont get out of the Airport (in spain) without one of these per person (from now)

Portal is not working for me at the moment but I may be having a thick evening (its getting "stuck" half way through the process.

Good luck everyone  !

This is not going to be good for the stag / hen crowds who rarely travel - Chaos will ensue

I tried this earlier today. Got the code via the email as it says online but can’t get any further without getting” Form can’t be retrieved” message. Will keep trying, but it looks like I will be printing the form off and hoping their app will eventually be available for the iPhone.

Completed the form apart from health section, that won’t be available to fill in until 48 hours before flight.
Seem waking up at 6am has it uses after all.

I've cracked it that far as well. What was holding me us was the Asterisk by the "Apartment Number" on the form, Took a punt deleted my number from the Address entry and put the house number in (where its expecting apartment) and I 've got through to the same point as you now I guess. I can only proceed 48 hours before travel into the health declaration phases

I put 0 as apartment number it accepted that. Still got to add seat number, but it does let you go back and alter information. I did email them, and I got a response apparently the app for the iPhone will be available soon.  We fly out Friday so should access everything Wednesday Have my fingers crossed already that it will work.

Will be doing the hard copy also as a back up.

Wonder if there will be anything about departure date on the Health declaration.

By default there is Sookie - you can't proceed past the initial data entry as you know until 2 days before you fly. Did mine this morning for Weds and got the QR code document OK.

It will be a lot harder process for people who arent "tech savvy" - and will certainly cause problems for the stag and hen crowds later in the year for sure. Interestingly its not going to be checked and verified outbound so if its missed or incorrect the first time it will cause a problem is at Alicante security

Glad you got it all done and it’s worked. Hopefully the page is still working come Wednesday for me to fill out.

Will be interesting to see if they check them on arrival.

Have a safe flight.

I reckon you will have to scan the OCR symbol on arrival at the airport either via your phone or have a printed version just like you scan yourself through into the security area at airport's.

Welcome back Ian - no need for aircon now, temperature not been above 13 degrees since Tuesday and in north Manchester we have had rain or showers every day since the 16th June. Roll on September.
