The following was sent to me yesterday by a British lady who is doing vital work caring for elderly people of all nationalities in our area.
"Hi guys. I was stopped by the Guardia Civil on the N332 this morning. Was pulled to the side.
The officer read my paperwork the said to me in broken English, " you working for elderly". I said yes I am.
He stepped back saluted and said "Muchas Gracias".............. I drove away with tears running down my face. I couldn't believe the respect he gave.
This terrible time does bring out the best in people xxx"
