Did anyone see the program on BBC1 The sheriffs are coming this morning
It featured the large dumped Mercedes on Altomar 2, wondered who owned it

Watched the programme the person with the debt was the seller and he wanted van back before he paid out looks like he didn’t get it

Don't the council have the authority to remove abandoned vehicles?  I recall they removed one from the Dialprix car park last year.

My experience Bert is that they (the council) wont touch any abandoned vehicles unless its on a public road. We tried to get them to come to our urbanisation for a long time to remove one and they weren't interested.

Not that I would do this of course - but if you push / tow said abandoned vehicle onto one of the main roads it will soon be gone  ;)
