Valencia advice ??
« on: March 28, 2018, 15:16. »
Hola,

Just after a bit of accommodation advice in Valencia. After 1st hand experience of any nice hotels that don`t cost the earth. 2 adults for 4 nights so looking at possibly 50/70 euro a night B&B ?

Any visited and recommended hotels would be welcome.

Thanks.

We stayed at The Tryp Valencia Oceanic last week, I’d use it again. In the new part of the town opposite The City of Arts and Sciences.
Very friendly staff and a modern clean hotel, very comfortable beds!!
Lots of cafes, restaurants and bistros within 50 yards of the hotel, plenty of car parking in the locality as well.
The old town is a €1.50 bus ride away, stop virtually outside the hotel....or it’s a 45 minute walk through gardens and parkland to the old town
Hope this helps

Regards all

John

Stayed at a few hotels there think one of the better was called Silken or something similar. The last couple of times I've been there I booked apartment hotels in old town. Suits me better and nothing beats going down to the bakery on the corner and then have the breakfast on "your own" balcony.

Weve stayed at the Vinnci Mercat several times, a nice boutique hotel near the main square, centrally located. Note that most central hotels dont have there own on site car park, but public 24 hours car parking everywhere..
They dont like it up em !
