How does he get away with this
Yes I know a lot of you use Ryanair because of price and flight times, but I'm sure your opinion would change if this was your flight

The company who's motto should be

We Really Don't Care

I will continue to use Ryanair because all things being equal they are usually way cheaper than Vueling, Jet 2 and Monarch. Often the other three are twice as much

Not suprised I use Ryanair a lot but and still will but why place an internal statistic as more important than meeting your commitments to paying customers ... 80 % is still better than loads of others

Cheaper doesn't work if your flight is cancelled though

And that's how he gets away with treating customers so badly, they come back for more

Hi Ash, I'll think twice.
As I posted earlier if we are traveling to and from Alicante it's an inconvenience.
Any where else and it's a nightmare.
For the extra £20/£40 I can see Jet2 and Monarch getting more of our business.

Regards all

John

I must admit I've never agreed with the old adage The Customer is always right

But Ryanair has rewrote it to say
The Customer is never right and for  good measure we will treat them with utter contempt

It's genius

We booked flights back in Febuary with Vueling out to ALC for this December over a 10 day period, in June we were contacted by Vueling to say they had amended our flights, nothing unusual i thought Ryanair amend all the time. Vuelings amendments were flying out at 7am to Barcelona waiting 7 hours then flying on to ALC , the return flight was no longer 10 days away but 2 days with again a 7 hour stop in Barcelona. When i contacted Vueling they thought these flights were a suitable alternative but we could cancel with the appropriate fees, after many phone calls we got a full refund. After that debacle Ryanair look quite professional.
They dont like it up em !

People need to make sure they get the most compensation out of this company, as per the aviation rules on cancellations. He will think twice if he loses money.

Totally agree it pays to know the rules then use them against the airlines. Having said that i probably fly somewhere around the world at leas twice a month both with the budget airlines and the national carrier's, and have to say Ryanair for what you pay are pretty good overall.

I could (almost) find it acceptable if they published all the cancellations now, upfront to cover the 6 week period. You could then make plans. But with the current policy of 48 hours notice you could be left stranded and in real trouble if you are expected back in work. Yesterday they cancelled Alicante to Birmingham and Manchester (some of the busiest flights) Outrageous that will be 380 stranded

BeachLife  they don't care
But it appears to a lot of their customers that this is acceptable because they sometimes get a cheap flight

Maybe the Ford Motor company will start selling cheap cars that only work on a Tuesday between 6 and 8

The more I read into this fiasco the more disgraceful it becomes.
As BeachLife says they should publish a full list of cancellations now to give people a reasonable chance of finding an alternative flight and amend their accommodation bookings.
We have four flights booked with them, they will be our last
