Today at Maykas Kitchen.
Four of us shared a leg of lamb, there was plenty of meat and it was superb, very tender, very flavoursome and just fell off the bone..........we also shared a plate of Galician Octopus, that was a revelation, best Octopus I have ever had, very very tender.
When we sat down Mayka brought us a plate of Tortilla, on the house, and took time with us to answer any queries we had about the menu......she gave us a "credit" for the wine with the lamb against a better bottle.
The Spanish custard for dessert, made without milk, rounded the meal off lovely and much to Mrs H's delight they had soya milk which meant she could join the rest of us for a coffee.
An unrushed lunch with friends, they type of lunch you remember.
Worth a visit.
