For me it has been a great start to a new forum and I hope it continues in the same manner.

Thank you to Admin - I think you're doing a great job.

Happy posting folks !

I'll second that!  It's great to have a decent forum again.

I simply lurked for the first month and was so impressed that I have now joined!

Much better than the old GA Forum IMHO.

Welcome on board Mark,
Your page about the wildlife on The Clot is still the first page I read in The Advertiser every month.

Regards all

Hi Mark, welcome to the forum. Are you still working on the rigs? - seems a very long time now since that pint or two down at the Sunset :-)

as can be seen on some comments I made, I feel this forum is quite good.
The only problem I really had was when an overzealous moderator changed the text of a post I made, i.e. the text was changed and it came over as though I had made that text. I only saw this by coincidence.
As the Germans say: des guten zuviel - too much of the good thing.
I don' t think we really need someone to write in our name    :-)
I repeat a suggestion made earlier, to include a section on "where to travel from GA to ...." with info on e.g. Archena, Granada, Madrid etc.
It could form some kind of database for the future....

We already have a board :-

Out & About
Other places worth a visit. Trips, Excursions, Resorts, Discoveries, Hidden Gems, etc.

That should do it !

Can we have an unlike button so that any droning drivel can be 'unliked'.

Yes I'm still on the rigs but not for much longer - should have put my feet up last year but decided to give it a little longer, now that the oil price has gone south maybe they will make me a nice offer to go away..... ;D

many thanks   :-)  See this section was started last week and had not noticed it.
Will put in once I am back from "holidays" (some clients discovered they can still send me work   :-)   some posts on Toledo, on Santiago de Compostela (direct flights from Alicante  :-), Madrid, Granada etc.

Think it's a great idea to start this part as Hans's forum always had numerous requests on "what to do ..."  :-)
