This technology totally baffles me. I have an Amazon Fire stick with Kodi fully loaded. I can understand the Amazon prime not working as with SkyGo that doesn't work outside of the U.K., but will the Kodi element work in GA?

These all work on Amazon Fire Stick in Spain: kodi, Netflix, Amazon Prime instant videos. BBC I player and other UK catch up apps don't, for obvious reasons unless you are using a VPN to mask your location.

The content of Netflix and Amazon in Spain has differences to UK, as it does with other regions, as their agreements vary from country to country, but the good news is that, if you have a subscription you can watch content in Spain. Kodi is kodi. If you have a TV, wireless internet and a fire stick, it all works fine.

Thanks John and Sue. As long as Kodi works I'm happy enough.

In simple terms you plug it into your HDMI to socket and connect it you your WIFI router wirelessly it then over the broadband brings you both free view to channels and channels you pay for like Amazon prime sky etc . Kodi is software that allows it to obtain other countries TVs the same way so you could watch a premier league game that starts at 3 pm on a Saturday live via say a Far East channel . You can get onto things like Netfilix and other film channels . A jail broken one means it has been doctored to not need a subcription to pick up normally pay per view channels hope that helps
