Today in the Garbe Chinese shop my husband had his wallet "picked" luckily it was on a chain, the man that was actually taking the wallet couldn't get the wallet back into his pocket! so the guy just left it, my husband felt something on his leg and immediately realised what was happening, (he worked in a jail before retirement) he shouted "call the police I have been robbed" They threw the wad of money down (300 euros!! we had just gone to the bank!)
The owners of the shop were very helpful they brought it all up on the shop camera, and there it was in very clear detail how they did it, such clear images, so hopefully the police will catch them. We went to Santa Pola and filed a complaint, they said they would go and view the footage straight away.......
So, beware of these bar-stewards, 3 men, one about 35 6ft and portly, another about 35 5' 8 also portly, and the third one aged about 25, tall and of athletic build. They were Eastern block nationals. They were driving an old Opal Astra saloon silver in colour.
We only reported it in the hope that they will be caught, and that the same thing doesn't happen to someone else with a less fortunate endin!
