That's an interesting point llamedos. The eateries also fail at an incredible rate of knots here too. Perhaps they are misjudging the amount of English people here, and the amount of those that want to eat English? Just a thought.
I want to put on the record that I love English Breakfast, and so do many of my Spanish friends when introduced to it (once they regain consciousness after seeing it haha). In all honestly I've never found a particularly good one in GA...the best of them seemed to be Just Deserts in the day. The Lemon Tree market at least does a huge one that takes away to need for lunch haha.
It was the urgency that dleafy put into consuming English only fare that I found so interesting.
dleafy, Victor (above) honestly had a reasonable suggestion you know. If English food, or English culture in general is important to you - and of course there's no reason it shouldn't be, you don't have to love Spain, the Spanish and Spanish culture to move to Spain, it's not a requirement (although I would say a happy event if you do) then you really should take a closer look at La Marina - which is (as far as I know, perhaps others can comment) a much more English culture oriented place to live.
I knew a guy once who was actually desperate to move out of GA and over to La Marina for this very reason. "There's no proper butchers here" was one of his problems. "Can't get a decent cup of tea"....I can go on.
Joking aside, perhaps La Marina is the place I should go for English breakfast?!
