Why Gran Alacant???

I was just wondering....with all the Towns & Cities and all the Urbanizations throughout Spain.....what made you buy/rent a property in Gran Alacant?

When we bought our house in Puerto Marino GA, we bought off plan. What sold it to us was how close we were to the airport & how close we were to other neighbouring towns & villages. We were told about the GA CC being built &what type of business's were going to be there.where our house is PM we don't need to hire a car if we don't want to as everything is here. But we do enjoy going for drives & discovering new places to eat at & also to see.we have no regrets about buying here & would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying .

Initially we only had a holiday home here when we bought about 15 years ago.

The plus points were obviously close to the airport,beach and obviously the price.

Since we moved here 9 years ago obviously the new school was a must but all the amenities are close.

I would recommend this area and obviously it's a good time to buy now with the price of properties.

Beach
Walking distance to shops, banks etc
Good transport to both Alicante & Santa Pola
Fabulous views from most angles
Good mix of people

The location to the major Costa Blanca Airport (I can be there in 10 mins by car)
The proximity to other great places in Spain such as Alicante and Benidorm

Property prices
The stunning beach
The places to walk

In all honesty would struggle to say anything bad about the place

The people...a great mix of nationalitys....always a friendly face to chat to ...kind, caring...occasionally an odd ball !!!  But that's what makes it such fun.

We bought 16 years ago and agree with all the above. Although I do have to turn off my loony magnet some days.

Looks like everyone chose Gran Alacant for the same reasons that we are.

I agree with everyone else.
Masa showed us various houses in Torrevieja and surrounding areas. We chose Gran Alacant and have never looked back.
