Energy Efficiency Certificate

Anyone has more information about this? Who would one have to contact to get this certificate?

"Starting June 1 / 2016, all home owners all homeowners who are renting out or selling are required to have the "certificado de eficiencia energética" (CEE) or Energy Efficiency Certificate."

" The energy label must be shown as part of the advertising for the property's sale or rent out."

"In case of a missing CEE the homeowner may be imposed fines which vary between 3.000 and 6.000 euro."

Always something... Grrrr

Talk to Sylvie and Isabel in FAB in Masa Square, they put us in touch with an excellent Technical Architect who did all our properties.

This was actually law in June 2013......if you are renting out for short term holiday lets, there is also the Tourist Licence that needs to be applied for.

Oh wow! 2013!!! And I also need a Tourist License! Oh well...
Thank you so much for the information. I heard from Novadesta, they claim they'll help with the Certificate, but it's good to know there are other venues. Thank you so much!

Do you know of any good, reliable plumbers in Gran Alacant? The one Novadesta referred to me is very busy next week and I'd like to fix the horrific odor in one of my bathrooms ASAP. Thank you in advance. You are a mine of information.

No problem!  Re: the plumber, again speak to Isabel and Sylvie, Isabel's brother Carlos is a great guy (he speaks some English too!)

Re : the EPC you should not pay much more than 90€ for a townhouse/apartment of €120 for a detached villa  8)
