Fresh fruit in Spanish supermarkets
« on: December 11, 2015, 11:45. »
Hi, when ever we come over its seems impossible to buy raspberries or blueberries in the shops despite the fact they grow them in Spain and they are always plentiful in M&S, tesco etc in UK. does anyone know why this siege do Spanish not like them or all exported?

Its probably because the Spanish demand more than humble raspberry etc like  ----  these are in season right now --- pineapple/melon/pomegranite/pears/clementine and the extremely fine tasting Chirimoya ( custard apple)  Delicious

Like you Tony, we love all the local seasonal fruits...........the Spanish mangos are fantastic, every bit as good as the Brazilian ones.
