Been reported that hotel guests in Benidorm are leaving air con on with balcony doors open and even requesting second room access cards so that they can leave the air con on while out of the room, also people leaving taps on and requesting excessive amounts of towels, its selfish behaviour and drives cost up for hotels and guests alike.

Whilst not disputing this report, most hotels have patio door sensors specifically designed to turn off the aircon whilst the doors are open. Why would people leave the taps running in a hotel room doesnt make logical sense, as for towels i like a fresh one every day so seems quite reasonable, my opinion of course.

We only get clean towels every third day on Cunard. Do you not think about your carbon/water footprint?

You must have upset your cabin steward Tony
On the cruises we have done if you so much as dry your hands on a towel it is miraculously changed later in the day.
The towels are always changed after the morning and evening showers, I will admit to saying were they not I’d be having a word with the steward.
I’d also expect the same in a hotel.

Regards all

John

I do like a new fluffy towel each time I shower most people use a Tesco clubcard to keep power on whilst out you don’t need a second key any card does it
I don’t see the issue apart from leaving taps on why anyone would do that is beond me but the rest is just making use of facilities if they are provided people will use them
