John, hostelero in Spanish does NOT refer to hotel. It was projected to open a bar/restaurant there. Please read the article again ...

Very confusing... The headline and the tiny text below the photo read: "El puerto desestima reconvertir el faro de Tabarca en un hotel", but then the article suggests differently.
