Title: Many Bars Open at Present

Are there many open as we are coming over this week and does anyone know when the new bar named Zest (old Not Just Desserts) will be opening as would like to see what the renovation looks like?

Hi,
There are a number of bars/restaurants open at present albeit some are very quiet. The new bar Zest (old Just Desserts) in Sierra Mar square is not open as yet but it looks like they have completely renovated the unit.

We reopen on 13feb. Not sure where the name as come from?? We haven't revealed the new name yet lol

Sorry if I misheard the name but one of neighbours said it is going to be Zest and we look forward to seeing a new bar in Gran Alacant.

Lee-will you still be doing the best breakfasts in GA when you re-open or will you have a completely different theme

According to the lady from Liverpool working in Chasers they have not kept on the qualified chefs so not sure if the new place will doing a full menu but other people say that they will be doing light meals and snacks.

Back in the UK after a few days in GA and the area was really quiet but great to see bars/restaurants still opening up although some are closed until March/April. Bar Zest (Not Just Desserts) is under construction and according to many folk it is going to be very similar (if not a mirror image) to Barloko with patio rattan furniture out in the square.
