 Does anyone know of a mobile carpet cleaning service or where I can hire a machine?

That sounds like a great business opportunity! I reckon I could sell a carpet cleaning franchise to a pair of new arrivals! ;) haha! Last year I made a packet selling on my umbrella business!

We have some big rugs............those floors are bloody cold in the winter...........had them cleaned at the dry cleaners down at The Commercial Centre...........took about a week, they did a very good job.

Hi Mike,

I know some of my neighbours had rugs/sofas cleaned (about 2 years ago) by a man named Wayne in GA, sorry I do not have his contact details but I have seen the occasional advert in the weekly free newspaper.  Coincidentally, a friend of ours was asking the same question back in the summer so I will ask if she had any luck.

It's true, I have rugs as well in fairness. I also think I'd like my house to have wall to wall all winter! Great comment Bert, tanning salon haha. I remember a real franchise for car small car dent removal years back... can't say I've seen the van lately :'(
