Title: Raise height of front wall

I’m looking to get the front wall raised by about a metre to provide a little more privacy. Lots of people on Altomar 1 (and other urbanisations) have had this work done. Any recommendations?

Hiya Mike, if I were you I would pay a visit to your administrator to establish that you can do this and I would ask for a letter confirming this.......don't assume it's OK because others have done it!!
Secondly I would reckon you would need a minor works licence from the town hall in Santa Pola, a dead easy process.

Spot on from John, but also consider if you will reduce the sun in your garden.

Hi,

Spoken to Administrator and Altomar 1 has a dispensation from the council, so no planning permission, just permission from neighbour (which I have). Probably why so many people have raised their walls. With the addition it’ll only be 7 foot so no issue with the sun.
Just need a builder.

John, spot on. Had bollars put on our wall and raised by 1 block. This was done in 2007. House inspected by town hall engineer in 2011. When in GA in April a letter from town hall.......fine €250!!!!

Hi Mike, try Murphy Ray, advert on back of The Advertiser, Sol Builders, you might have to wait several months but you can be assured of a good job
