Title: Restaurante El Riu
Post by: John H on October 13, 2015, 19:55.
We've been visiting El Riu for 10 or more years now and never had anything other than a super meal
It's situated twixt Guadalest and Callosa, if you're in that area and are looking for a lunch stop give it a go, you won't be disappointed

Regards all

Looks cracking, thanks for the recommendation John.

I don't think I ever had a bad meal in a place cooking on the open fire. "Dura" on the long Elche road (3/4 of the way up) is an absolute favourite of ours any time we require tender lamb chops, unctuous morcilla and crunchy chips. Their liver, bacon and garlic is also exquisite.

Cheers gaveteran, always good to have plenty on the list.
Liver, bacon and garlic, heaven on a plate
