Here goes your first guess, my cousin visits a place not too far up the coast which she says is gorgeous. I haven't been there but think it is called coveca fuma, it's not there is it. Wherever it is I would love to see it, it's looks stunning, thank you for yet another lovely pic.

Thanks Hazel, its not coveca fuma, which I'd never heard of..........however I've just checked it out on Google and it looks great..............and very close, one for a visit!!

The rock should give it away, but I don't know either.
Coveta Fuma is not so special. Used to have a massive Dutch population when we owned at Campello (30 years ago). The beach is sheltered, but for some reason is now half of what it was, the closest bit to the access being solid rotting seaweed, not sand.
If you're heading the other side of Campello, we always loved Vilajoyosa, & still rate it today.

We often call in at the Hotel Montoboli for a coffee, the coffees nothing to write home about, the view from the terrace however is quite stunning

We were on the 332 yesterday and I saw a sign for Coveta Fuma............your description is spot on Mike, bit of a dissapointment
