Title: Suzie Screwz
Post by: Davison on October 06, 2015, 11:09.
Hi everyone,  is the Ferreteria up Escandanavia Altomar II open at all? or does anyone know the telephone number? I used 966 183 002 he said it was a private dwelling I am after some "paint pads" like a roller but pads I know Justin had these in store so next question does anyone know where I can get some? People have said Pintura in St Pola (no he doesn't) Chinese shops (no)Brico (no) awaiting helpful replies thanks Allison.

Suzie Screwz has not been open for a couple of years now. The unit is now a Tabac which also sells cards and also has a money exchange desk inside.

The Ferreteria in the GA centre is excellent. They speak superb English and are very helpful. I get most of my stuff there now as it saves a trip to Le Roys.

Yes, Euronics and Brico in the GA centre has everything you will ever need

Do not now have to go off Gran Alacant

13 years ago when we moved here it was difficult, but now so so easy

Thanks alas I have tried all of the aforementioned to no avail.  I may get my friends in UK to bring some over next visit, The Pintura in Santa Pola told me, in no uncertain terms, that we the Spanish don't like paint pads and prefer rollers ! cheers wouldn't think it was so difficult.

I'm old school, preferring brushes. I've only relatively recently forgone brushes in in favour of a roller for emulsioning.

I must admit I was a dinosaur with the brush, until recently, now its the roller
always with emulsion, am going with the roller next time with gloss watching
somebody do it looks quite easy .

I love a roller. I just painted a couple of wooden units in my living room using a mini roller and a good quality paint. Then came out great. Look really modern now.
