Title: What a shame......

.....I went down the Shirley Bassey this morning to photograph the sun rise, which was a poor show!!
I took a look at the old hotel in Arenalas, took a few shots, what a sad sight. Made me think of all the people who over the years must have had some great holidays there
The cats seem to have taken residence in the place and it looks like the locals are feeding them

It is sad, every time I see it I wish someone would do it up and make it a working hotel again, it's such a fabulous location and as the only hotel serving arenales  and gran alacant surely there would be business.
I thought at one point someone was going to re open it but that seems to have come to nothing.  If they aren't going to tidy it up it should just be removed as it brings down an otherwise beautiful area.
