Beautiful sun set tonight over the salt lakes, I never get tired of watching the amazing sun sets you see there.

Fabulous, always enjoyed your photos on the previous forum and now we've joined gasbags we are looking forward to still being able to keep up to date with bits and pieces when not there.

Great pictures, John.  Love the Spanish sunsets.  I remember the Tower at the salinas when it was a ruin, always thinking how scenic it looked as it stood out on the salt beds.  I acknowledge that it had to be renovated to save it, however I preferred the "craggy" look.  It looks too symmetrical now with less character. My sentiments too. They didn't make any attempt to retain any of the character. They are in the course of doing repairs to the Water Gate at Portchester Castle here in the UK and you can't see the joins.

Lovely pictures John.

I always try to take the camera when out and about.

The light can change quickly close to sunset.
