Heaving at the GA market today.
So many traders they had to overspill to the car park
Plenty of customers enjoying the day.
Brilliant young girl busking with electric guitar, no singing. Sat with her, listening, for ages.

That's good news Barry, sounds like the doom and gloom merchants got it wrong.
Hope you're enjoying the cricket

YES MARKET IS A SUCCESS
BUT AGAIN THE LOCAL COUNSEL got it wrong.
The Car park is overtaken by Stalls, Including the Disabled Parking Plots.
Its either a car park or part of the pitch area, this needs sorting.
also last week it took me over Half an hour, to get from the Chemists to the Gates of my Urb
If I was a Ambulance trying to get to a person with a Heart attack, They would be Dead.
If I was a Fire Service truck, trying to get to a house fire, The house would be burnt down.
Calle Santa Pola has cars Parked on both sides, and only room for 1 car to pass down the middle, There is no way you could pull over to let a Emergency vehicle get by.
We need a LARGE SIGN at the Entrance of Calle Sainta Pola Saying NO ACCESS TO MARKET. also a Police local, at the Market end Keeping the traffic moving,

Another problem is that ,even if the stalls don't encroach on the parking area, the traders park their vans there, so reducing the spaces available. I'm glad it's such a success, though.

There were numerous complaints because there were not enough stall holders, now there are too many
Cant please everyone I suppose
-
No more moaning please-the market is great-use it or loose it.

Hero and Sakura
Would it be a different story if your House was on fire, or a case your life would be put at risk, where you would need a Ambulance.
Just so some one can buy a bit of cheap Tat.
Not a case of trying to please every one, or moaning for the sake of moaning.
Its the same old story.
The council has entered into a Project, half cocked, as usual, and not looked or thought through the Implications.
These point was brought up before the Market was opened, and should have been dealt with at that time.
