Is there a Licensed Taxi company(English speaking) based in or around Gran Alacant.

Is it true that  the meter starts  charging from Santa pola? So if I called a taxi from the commercial centre to carrabassi, then  I'm charged from Santa pola to commercial centre and then from there to carrabbass?

We have been in talks with the new people at the town hall about the taxi prices on GA
