Title: Paperless driving licence

Does anyone know what we need to do to book a car now that the paper licence in UK is finished the DVLA say you need to set up a webpage and share it with hire company (can't see that being easy in peek times ) the queues will take hours

I have not needed to show the paper part for a few years jus not been asked for it but I suspect that will change now

I had a look at a couple of the companies websites and there is no mention of it

Anyone tried it today ?

I just produced my plastic part four weeks ago. As has been pointed out elsewhere, no other country has plastic AND paper, it would not therefore occur to rental companies to request anything else. How do other countries deal with motoring endorsements?

Has anyone tried this lately just wondered what the hire companies are demanding I'm over in July and not sure what to bring now think I will bring both parts

According to the DVLA the paper counterpart is no longer used in the UK (you certainly wont be able to get a replacement)

Nothing has changed in Belfast, we still use the paper & plastic one

I cant imagine any car hire companies turning your money away. Im not worried about it

RecordGo have never asked to see mine in the 12 years I have been using them. Storm in a tea cup
