Title: Most of my mates love it............

...........a drive down to the airport, pull the car up at the side of the runway and do a bit of plane spotting.
Passes an hour and it doesnt cost a cent, which is nice.

Heres a few photos from 40 minutes spent there this afternoon.

Hello John, I work at the airport on the ramp, I see this everyday and it still amazes me how these massive machines get off the ground.

The ramp john is basically the stands that the aircraft park on when they arrive.

Great pics John.

Being a lazy sod when in GA, I achieve the same effect by going on the roof with:

Laptop logged in to Flight Radar 24 - so I know who they are
Binoculars - so I can see them
Large beer - so I can stop caring  ;D

You can see a plane on the runway in this photo..
