Post by: kevinb on September 02, 2021, 20:14.: We filled in the UK gov locator form from our phones in Spain didn't print it out and wasn't asked for it at Stansted airport, downloaded the filled in form on our phones and uploaded it to Ryanair's website, all was ok.

Post by: Blue and white stripes on September 02, 2021, 23:45.: I flew into BHX 25th August and there was a border force officer checking locator forms before we entered passport control. First time in three trips. All documents were checked by Ryanair in Spain before boarding.

Post by: wilson on September 03, 2021, 16:38.: The responsibility is now firmly with the airline to ensure that any person they carry has the correct documentation for the country they are travelling to. Which with different rules for different countries must be a challenge. I think the fine is €2000 for allowing a passenger to travel without the correct documents. Needless to say that the receiving country only does spot checks.

Why print it ? Just show it on your phone I did when I returned to the UK. In fact they didn’t want to look at it when I got my phone out. They just said it’s on the system

Unfortunately Fran is no longer with us......however there are plenty of other places to get printouts done if needed.
