Went through Stansted airport security in a flash ten minutes ago, very quiet, just the usual scan of the QR code for the flight. Watch this space.

We arrived Stansted last night. Alicante very quiet, plane half full. Did not have to show one piece of documentation at either end which surprised me.   Stansted on the way over on Sunday however was horrendous. Airport full and took ages to get through the baggage check with many people really panicking about missing their flights. To top if off the shuttle was seriously delayed and we ended up running to board the plane.  I assume a few people missed their flights. It was very stressful

I think as I'd uploaded all the docs to Ryanair's site that you get OKed at the gate, I'd printed out everything and a Ryanair staff member was walking the queue checking on people's phones and print outs and giving a slip of paper with a reference number if all was ok, On arriving at Alicante it was very quiet, went through the automatic passport gates in a few minutes and then had passport date stamped, got hire car in ten minutes. It was 36°C in GA, our house was very dusty but no problems, smelt a bit musty but that's all.

My last experience at BHX was exactly the same as Kevinb at Stanstead.
