Does anyone know the cost of using the 060 number to ring trafico?

Sorry can't help you but found this on the CAB site for Spain.

Note: Some telephone operators bill the cost of calling 060 as a premium number. This means that the call to 060 may have a special cost not included in ADSL / fiber + calls or similar type plans, or mobile rate plans. Thus, even if you have calls to national numbers in your landline plan or have a special cost of national calls on your mobile, the call to 060 will have a charge that depends on your operator depending on the cost you set for a interprovincial call (without any plan). We recommend that you contact the customer service of your telephone operator for more information.

You will be VERY LUCKY if you get through to them. So many people who applied for the exchange of licence even before lockdown have not got them yet and they have removed the UK from the DGT web page to apply for a face to face appointment. Happy times not.

There’s an article on N332 Facebook page about scam messaging supposedly about Traffic fines, so if you have anything like that be very careful

Yes be very careful. If you have received a text or an email asking you to call a number it is bound to be a scam. Reason  being how would they have known your number or email address.

I had similar here in the UK and fell for it but the security on my phone flagged it up warning me of high cost in using the number given to me in which I needed to contact.

Nothing to do with a scam message. Trying to arrange an appointment to apply for a Spanish Licence. Various reports about what/not to do. Confused to say the least.

Ask Rosa do sort it out for you. He rates are really good and she would know exactly what you need to do. If you need her contact details just let me know. Loads of Forum members have used her services over the years and all speak very highly of her.

I first meet her about 15 years ago when she worked in a local Solicitors office and she certainly sorted my problem out for me being a local awning company giving me a run around. Since then she has done my tax return each year and helped with any other problems I have had with my not knowing my way around the Spanish bureaucracy. She also does hospital visits where a translator might be required. She now works for herself from her home whilst bring up her two lovely children.

I'll second that opinion of lovely Rosa, frankly I think she saved me wife's life after a serious hospital mix up. I have all the time in the world for the doctors and nurses here, but sometimes the ones that tell you they can speak English can cause more harm than good with a small muddle-up. With Rosa on our team that doesn't happen, she's more like an assistant than a translator, and to my wife a real friend.
