Title: Mail

Please could anyone tell me if there is a time limit on something that is at the post office                                                                                         The reason i ask is that my neighbour went too my mail box and said i have a yellow card
haven`t got any idea what it could be and are not over till next month

Hi Mushte, yes, I think so, fairly sure this has been up on the forums before but I can't recall the time allowed to collect. Could your neighbour not scan the card to you, it will probably tell you on it what you need to do?

Hi mushte, a few years ago I found a card in my mail box from Correos to tell me they had a letter I had to sign for, I went up to the Correos office as directed to on the card in my mail box to find that the letter was no longer there, after I seem to remember 15 days they return them to the sender.
They do keep a record of it and told me who is was from and explained that it had been returned to the sender.
Luckily it was a local letter from the court in Santa Pola and I was able to go down and collect it in person.

I had one a few years ago & by the time I went they had sent back. It was a letter from SUMA about outstanding traffic fine I didn’t know about.
I had to go to SUMA office to get time to pay changed & then pay at bank. Delays cost me extra 60 euros in penalties!!

Hi Mushte,

I don't know if you have a problem but I think you should assume so until proven otherwise, it does look a bit like an attempt to collect on something. Does it say anything else that might give us a clue?

We has similar issue with suma office years ago, totally unaware of correos card in box, 4 months later in new year found card and went to SP suma office, i recall the amount owed increased each day it was unpaid by a few cents. Quite annoying really as they seemed happy to let it build whilst making no further attempt to contact me.
