I'm a loggerheads with Mrs Gaverteran here about her long-standing hospital appointment tomorrow for a gastro problem (Elche general). She's insists all will be well, but I am convinced that general outpatient appointments will surely be cancelled, and besides, technically we are allowed to travel there anyway (quite rightly in my opinion).
Our star translator Rosa is doing her best to find out but naturally phone lines are busy.
If anyone has any information I'd be grateful.

With all due respect that is the last place you want to be going. Sit tight and change the appt when all this calms down.
Good luck.

I completely agree. My wife's worried, and I think sometimes when people worry they just want to "act like it's normal". I'll continue to work on us both staying in!

Obviously I'm in the UK at the moment and things aren't as bad as Spain but if your Mrs can carry on without this appt then do just that. Sit tight and enjoy the sun on your balcony with a few cold ones.
I am due back out in June and can't wait. Just hope it's calmed down by then.

If you read the announcement it doesn’t mention being allowed to attend appointments
The best option must be to ring the hospital and ask their advice
Unless it is life threatening staying home is probably the best option
