John certainly gives a certain meaning to the word global moderator. Why not change to globetrotting moderator    :-)
Even from Madeira he continues moderating (the forum, that is ...)

Perhaps that's because some posters make it necessary.  He was asked to do a job, & he accepted, & since taking on the role, he has been diligent & attentive.  I hope he enjoys his visit despite what I read of the weather there, & let's be honest, this forum is what it is:-
NOT a place to wind someone or some nationality up.  NOT a place to air grievances carried onwarfd from the old Plaza, NOT a place to deliberately try to create animosity, or generally get insulting from the safety of "no physical contact"/
It seems to be getting it right, & if I sound pious, then so be it.
As an aside, how could you go to Madeira when the best day's rugby there will ever be was on?!?

Hi Mike, and wasnt it just!!

Mrs H went to the hotels spa for variouus pampering treatments and I went across the road from the hotel to a wonderful Irish bar and had a great afternoon!!

With my roots I have always had a bit of an Irish supporter, the boys did well.
