My husband is looking to buy a new scooter. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy one please? Also approximately how much would tax and insurance cost per year? Thanks in advance.

Tax is about 8/10 euros a year. Insurance for my 125c scooter is around the 275/300 Euro for third party fire and theft. They do not do comprehensive. Got mine from Linda Rowlands in Santa Pola
Where to buy. I got my Mine in Alicante from a main dealer near the Plaza mar shopping centre. It’s on the seafront road if you walk from the marina.
In Santa Pola there are at least 3 dealers. The one I use for the ITV and servicing is a couple of doors down from McDonald’s where one of the mechanics speaks English.
At the time of registration of the new scooter there was a fee of about 250 Euro. ITV comes into force after 4 years
