can anybody tell me if and where you can buy or dine out with gluten free food serve in the GA area

Hi Steve the Mrs has a gluten and dairy intolerance, Mercadona have a range of gluten free breads that she prefers to those available in UK supermarkets and various other products in store, Carrefour and the other big supermarkets do the same......in all honesty with bigger ranges than you can get in the UK
El Corte in Alicante has a good range of products in a section in their instore supermarket
In terms of eating out she doesn't have a problem......she doesn't have pasta/pizza/pastry/batter etc.......still leaves plenty of choice on most menus
Regards all

Eroski in Santa Pola also has gluten free. Depending on the severity of the condition, my OH can tolerate small amounts of the local panaderia bread. One wonders whether the condition is exacerbated by the chemicals in the bread in the UK.

Thats really interesting Tony as we avoid white bread in the uk as it makes us feel bloated etc, but the fresh mercadona breads which goes stale by the end the day doesn't have the same effect must be the added preservatives in the uk.
