Quite an incredible fall of Euro against the Dollar and Sterling in recent months.
Just wondering when it will turn around or whether this is to continue.
Not necessarily a good thing.

It's been on the cards for months Joe, the economies of the Eurozone countries have been struggling for a while and they have been very close to if not into deflation
They are only doing what most central banks/governments have done to stimulate the economy.
When will we see it return to parity or say €1.25 to the £ who knows.........how we all vote in May could have a big impact on that.
As a friend said yesterday "it'll be like going to Spain years ago, out to eat every night"..........thereby helping drive the economy

I just wonder where it will peak........................1.50 ?
And I also wonder about people with houses trying to sell which isn't great news but to every advantage there will be disadvantage I suppose.

Great if you are on the pension
30 percent on top of the uk plus cheaper living out here
Buying a house out here must be a steal

Great for my holiday next week, got 1.3875 euros to the pound on the high street this afternoon. Who knows how high it will go but the forthcoming general election might have some bearing, especially if there is a hung parliament.

Might appear selfish but the higher the rate and the longer it remains high the better, bear in mind that spain trades a lot with the rest of the euro zone so it makes no difference there, tourism is a big part of the economy so any non euro tourists will no doubt spend more i know we will after many years of scrimping when the rate was poor. €1.50 here we come

That new kitchen, new furniture and big flat screen won't be such a burden
